About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations between the yard, production, and warehouse areas.
£13.65 per hour
Rotating shifts:
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
- 22:00 – 06:00
Key Responsibilities
- Strapping raw materials and work-in-progress returned from production
- Assisting with de-boarding OPP pallets
- Emptying stillages in line with de-stilling schedules
- Wrapping and strapping finished goods ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Completing warehouse cleaning tasks in line with IMS/ISO/BRCGS standards
- Emptying production and warehouse bins into the compactor
- Supporting with basic admin and computer tasks
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Reporting any near misses or accidents
- Using PPE correctly at all times
- Following all health & safety policies and warehouse rules
- Keeping fire exits and walkways clear at all times
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable and proactive team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
- Basic computer skills (desirable)
Additional Information
- You will report to the Team Leader and Warehouse Manager
- Participation in team meetings may be required
